What began as a renovation project in 2008 became the foundation of both a partnership and a family. When MJ hired Diego to renovate her parents' home, his care, craftsmanship, and commitment to doing things right stood out immediately. Over the course of the project, their shared values — honesty, communication, and pride in quality work — became clear. Today, MJ and Diego bring that same respect and collaboration to every client they work with, treating each home as if it were their own.
The Foundation
After interviewing multiple contractors, MJ selected Diego to renovate her parents' home. The five-month project included an owner's suite, basement extension, screened porch, and full handicap accessibility for her mother.

In 2008, MJ hired Diego to renovate her parents' home — a five-month project that included an addition creating an owner's suite, extending the basement, adding a deck, and making the home handicap-accessible for her mother. After interviewing several contractors, she chose Diego for his professionalism and detail-driven approach. The renovation exceeded expectations, and from that point on, MJ and Diego have been working together ever since.

After years of working for large-scale builders, Diego was ready for something more personal. In 2017, he and MJ launched DNMJ Home Solutions to create high-quality, custom homes — without the rigid systems and impersonal feel of corporate construction.
